Occupation Ron retired in March 2006. Mary Ellen works as a nurse at the Barron Clinic, four days a week. Mary Ellen reports she is too young to retire.
Comments After graduation, Mary Ellen went to LPN school in Milwaukee. After Ron finished machinist school in Rice Lake, he was drafted. He was stationed in Germany. Ron and Mary Ellen were married in August 1967, when Mary Ellen joined Ron in Germany for a year.

Ron and Mary Ellen have two grown children, Jeff and Jennifer. Jeff lives in Eau Claire and is a production manager at Menards. He is married to Bev and they have three beautiful children. Jennifer lives in Spooner and teaches 8th grade math in Rice Lake. She is married to Mike and they have two beautiful children. Ron and Mary Ellen feel very blessed to have their family living so close.

Ron and Mary Ellen enjoy their trips to Florida, camping with family and friends, and cruising in the Cobra that Ron built in his spare time.
